About Dr. John Foley
Dr. John is passionate about the field of orthodontics. Dr. Patrick Foley, Dr. Foley’s father, operated a family orthodontic practice in Lake Zurich, IL for nearly 30 years and Dr. John has taken a lot of lessons from him, both as a patient, and as a son. He has committed himself to excellence in the advancing technologies of orthodontics and is proficient in the use of temporary-anchorage devices (TADs), laser gingivectomies, clear aligner treatments (i.e. Invisalign), INBRACE behind-the-teeth braces, and Lightforce 3D-printed custom ceramic braces. Dr. Foley is also experienced with pre-prosthetic orthodontics, in support of needed implants or cosmetic procedures, as well as presurgical orthodontics, helping patients set up for jaw surgery.
Outside of the office, Dr. Foley enjoys exercise, books and movies, and traveling.

Dr. Foley is a member of several dental and orthodontic associations, both regionally and nationally, including the American Association of Orthodontists (AAO), the American Dental Association (ADA), the Southern Association of Orthodontists (SAO), and the Raleigh-Wake County Dental Society (RWCDS). He is also honored to be a member of the American Board of Orthodontics (ABO), a prestigious certification undertaken by select orthodontists, allowing their work to be reviewed by a panel of their peers.
